The new game brought to you by 2K Sports has been called into the 3 point lead and has arrived with some new variety and taste. Yes, we have been introduced to some new features and detailed menus. The main menu is more inviting and you actually get to experience larger and more improved list of 2K sports music. The songs that have been put into the game, give more of a comfortable feeling when being played. There is more popular titles that you may have heard of such as MGMT, Kayne West and The Game.

They have introduced new features in the game such as “My Player”, which gives you the chance to personally customize a person’s looks and traits. This then allows your created character or monster to start out as a rookie in the Summer Circuit, with enough concentration and team spirit, you can work your way up to a big league NBA camp. If you fail miserably, you get put into the D-League, but basically at the start of the game, it openly tells you that it is a long and hard road to get to the big leagues of the NBA.

The NBA Roster is constantly updated every month over Xbox Live, this works just like EA Sports: FIFA 10, how it updates the player stats, and as an added bonus it gives the player a new commentary. This is of course also done on the PS3 and the PC version of the game. But it is actually a smart thing that 2K has done this because it doesn’t make each game the same boring thing over and over again. For example I remember playing 2K8 on the PS3, and every match there would be a "there gearing it up man to man" expression, and a Gatorade round the cooler update spoken by Craig Sager. The graphics have been slightly tampered with for an improvement, this mainly is shown upon the players, but still not for the audience and it still is quite disturbing to see the same "popcorn guy", giving out $2.00 packets of 4 year old popcorn so he can support his family that live in a cardboard box in the Bronx.

Game play and moves are still the same as the previous ones, but this is far from a bad thing because there was never anything bad to say about their moves and therefore no modifications were needed. The controls compared to the previous games on the other hand seem a little different, but not overwhelmingly too much. Other than that there have been no failures or "technical difficulties", in game or anything, therefore making it playable. There is quite allot to do in the "My Player" career and completion time would be about 24 hours for professional player’s whereas a minimum of a week for newcomers.

Steve Nash (Phoenix Suns) my favorite player.

My Rating: Because I really haven’t got anything bad to say about it, I would give it an 8.5/10 and I give my regards to 2K Sports when they release their next installment.

Thanks for Reading, and if you have any questions, just head into the forums and ask away. Cheers!
